The Streetcar The streetcar stop is right outside the hotel — hop on and reach the French Quarter, the Warehouse Arts District, the Mississippi Riverfront, and Canal Street in minutes. It’s the most fun and authentic way to get around the city. One-way fare is $1.25; a Jazzy Pass (unlimited rides) is available for multi-day visitors.

Rideshare & Taxis Uber and Lyft are widely available throughout New Orleans and are a convenient option for reaching destinations a bit farther afield, like Frenchmen Street, the Garden District, or Magazine Street.
From the Airport Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is approximately 13–15 miles from the hotel, with a typical travel time of 20–30 minutes.

French Quarter The oldest neighborhood in the city — and one of the most iconic in America — is just a streetcar ride or short walk away. Wander Royal Street for art galleries and antiques, take in the street performers at Jackson Square, grab a beignet and café au lait at Café du Monde, and yes — experience Bourbon Street for yourself.
National WWII Museum Just under a mile from the hotel, this world-class museum is consistently ranked one of the best museums in the country. Plan for a full day. The 4D film Beyond All Boundaries is not to be missed.
Audubon Aquarium of the Americas Freshly renovated and reopened in 2023, the Aquarium sits along the Mississippi River near the French Quarter and is home to sharks, penguins, sea turtles, and a stunning Caribbean coral reef exhibit.
Frenchmen Street For live music the way locals experience it, head to Frenchmen Street in the Marigny neighborhood. This is where New Orleans jazz and blues lives and breathes nightly — a very different vibe from Bourbon Street, and arguably more memorable.
Garden District & Magazine Street A short rideshare or streetcar ride away, the Garden District offers stunning antebellum architecture, tree-lined streets, and the eclectic shops and bistros of Magazine Street.
New Orleans School of Cooking A hands-on class or demonstration dinner is a fantastic group activity. Learn the secrets behind gumbo, jambalaya, and pralines from local chefs. Highly rated and endlessly fun.
Swamp Tours For something truly unique to Louisiana, book a guided swamp tour to see alligators, cypress trees, and bayou wildlife up close. Pickup from downtown hotels is often available.
Sazerac House Just minutes from the hotel, the Sazerac House is a free, immersive experience exploring New Orleans’ legendary cocktail culture. Interactive exhibits, virtual bartenders, and tastings make for a memorable hour or two.
